In this update, we are sharing some of the improvements shipped over the last months: sharing pages with guests, new permissions, moving pages between workspaces, and improved mentioning of people.
Sharing with guests
You can now share any page with external guests, in addition to workspace members. Click Share and enter the email of the guest. Free workspaces can have up to 10 guests per workspace, while workspaces on the Standard plan can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Guests can either view or edit the content depending on their permissions. We've also added a new sidebar section Shared with Me where you can see all pages shared with you from other workspaces.
New permissions
We've added a new default workspace permission called Member, which can do everything inside the workspace except deleting it or changing its settings. Admins can manage permissions in Settings.
This is useful for teams that want more control over their workspaces. Read more about workspace permissions and page permissions in our guide.
Move pages between workspaces
You can now move pages easily between workspace by clicking on the page menu ⋯ and pressing Move to.
Improved mentions
We've heard that mentions can get messy when collaborating with many people on the same page. We've enriched them, so you can now see who mentioned you and on which date, when hovering.
