Introducing Saga 1.0

Today, we are excited to announce that Saga is out of beta!

Saga makes it easy to collaborate on notes, docs, and tasks with AI. We believe that AI is most helpful when available directly in your workspace, using all your context.

We launched the initial version of Saga with the promise of creating a fast and delightful workspace that helps you connect your knowledge.

More than 40,000 of you have joined the beta. Since then, we have made Saga collaborative, released tasks, integrations, Saga AI, and more. Now, hundreds of teams rely on Saga every week as their main tool for collaboration.

The main ideas behind Saga

  • Simplicity - Saga is designed to be simple, allowing you to focus on your work rather than the tool.
  • Speed - Everything in Saga is fast. You can open pages, search, and use autocomplete instantly.
  • Connecting knowledge - We aim to help you easily link and refer to your information in Saga and across other tools.
  • Useful AI - AI that is connected to your existing knowledge is contextual, saves you time, and makes you more productive.

Plans and Pricing

We are introducing paid plans to further support team usage and develop exciting new features that will utilize AI with the full context of your work.

We are maintaining a generous free plan for up to 2 workspaces, collaboration for 3 workspace members, and sharing with up to 10 guests, which is ideal for personal use and small teams.

The Standard plan, billed per workspace member, offers access to the aggregated task manager and unlimited Saga AI usage, along with upcoming AI features that we will be launching next.

What's next

We are working on improvements that many of you requested and voted on, such as version history, mobile apps, and full support for offline mode.

We are also continuously improving Saga AI to do more work for you, as we believe that AI is most helpful when directly accessible from where work happens.

AI workspace

Saga AI already works across your notes. You can rewrite, fix grammar, translate or draft full documents, directly where you work. Recently we also announced the option to reference and mention pages in Saga AI.

What we are building next is even more exciting. First, "talk" to your workspace with AI. Imagine asking questions and receiving answers based on your meeting notes, internal documents, or your entire knowledge base. We are also expanding this to the tools we already integrate with, such as Google Workspace and Linear.

Second, interacting and taking action across other tools that are connected to your workspace (Google Workspace, Linear, and others coming soon). Imagine sending a follow-up email, scheduling an event, or updating a CRM deal directly from a note.
